Lee Seojeong (이서정), better known by her stage name Sei (세이), is a singer and actress, formerly under Fantagio. She was the vocalist and rapper of the girl group Weki Meki before their disbandment on August 8, 2024.

Sei was born on January 7, 2000 in Songpa District, Seoul, South Korea.

History

Early life

Sei attended and graduated from Seoul Bangi Elementary School and Seoul Girls’ Middle School. Alongside that, she attended and graduated from Theos Middle School. She has an older and a younger brother.

Career

2016: Produce 101

In 2016, Sei became a contestant on Mnet's survival show Produce 101, representing her company LOUDers Entertainment. She was eliminated in episode 5 after ranking 85th place. After the show, she left her company and signed with Fantagio.

2017: Debut with Weki Meki

On June 3, 2017, Sei was revealed as the second member of Weki Meki. The group officially debuted on August 8, 2017 with their first mini album WEME. She played the role of Sung Chun Hyang in Cheongchunhyang Jeon.
